I actually hate soccer, but I've enjoyed soccer games in the past. They were rather arcade-like though, and I can't imagine I'd enjoy Fifa if it captures soccer in all its guys-running-around-the-middle-of-the-field-making-no-progress glory.

Been playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 myself. Wii Playmaker controls are amazing. Took me a while to get used to the controls but it's so satisfying to score after you complete an intricate passing pattern between several players. Now I just need to learn how to play defense so I can avoid 6-5 games against quality teams

I'd pass on it then. It's kind of like NBA 2K11 in that regard. I loved NBA 2K9 because it was easy to make 3pters with anyone. It was a shoot out every time. Every time I play NBA 2K11 it's a final score of 20 something to 30 something. It's an awful game if you aren't into the whole defense oriented, drive it in and get fouled kind of play.cpebbles wrote:I actually hate soccer, but I've enjoyed soccer games in the past. FIFA is a lot of passing back to try different angles, and a lot of well timed crosses.

Re: The Video Game Thread
The best video game trailer I've ever seen. Hopefully the actual game can live up to it.

I've been playing Dead Space 2 constantly for the last 2 weeks. Just got back from the bar tonight, time to fire up the terror.

Re: The Video Game Thread
When I tried fallout 3 last year I didn't really care for it. Last night on a whim I decided to try it again. Now I'm hooked and I can't stop thinking about it.
I guess bulletstorm is going to have to wait.
