I calculate that I've probably spent an average, conservatively, of five hours a week reading and posting on this board, imbuing it with both my charm as well as my knowledge, responding to countless posts with unwanted legal analysis. That's 285 hours of time for which GRB has not yet rendered payment!

At my average billing rate over this timeframe, I am owed $52,725. Michael, I accept cashier's checks or paypal. No funny business, please.
Where do you come up with 57 weeks? I've got you in the neighborhood of 230 weeks.

Oh Jeez! I meant 57 months! Thanks for the correction, luke. Fortunately, since he hasn't rendered payment yet, there's still time to get Michael the corrected bill for $210,900.

1,000,000 posts and only one World Series during that time...pathetic. We really need to step up our game.

I thought a hot-shot environmental attorney in Austin would bill at an hourly rate much higher than that of some lowly practitioner in DeKalb, Illinois.

I used an average b/c my billing rate was much lower 5 years ago when I was fresh outa lawschool. It's still not even as high as it would be at bigger firms in the state.
