Matthew Liberatore last faced the Cubs on 5/31 at Busch. He earned the win as he went 5 & 1/3 innings giving up 3 hits and no runs.
Javier Assad will be facing the Cardinals for the first time in 2026. He won in his start against St. Louis last September.
