The Cardinals JJ Wetherholt has not played in four days (three consecutive games) due to lower half soreness. Imaging revealed no structural damage but the Cardinals have chosen the cautious path but still think he will avoid a stint on the injury list. The team has an off day Monday; so if they chose to sit him in Sunday's finale that would give him six days of rest before the next road trip which begins in New York on Tuesday.

Nathan Church began a rehab assignment June 4 in Memphis and may rejoin the big league team as early as Tuesday to start the series with the Mets. It may make for an interesting roster decision.

I'll be glad when the series is over since I'm subject to blackouts for Reds games. I was following along during the ninth when my feed notified me that the Reds had tied the game 6-6, and only found out an hour later about the pitch challenge and the end of the game.
