Repairing a sprinkler head and apparently stuck my hand in their home. Bastards bit me a zillion time instantly. Will be acquiring chemical weapons to genocide them for their crimes.

I haven’t missed fire ants at all since leaving Texas 28 years ago. Mrs Rad stepped on a mound once and ended up with hundreds of bites plus hives from head to toe. Nasty critters.

Raising Canes sucks. Plain ass chicken.
Did you guys know that fire ants bite at the same time? They can be crawling on you without you knowing, and then they send out a chemical signal telling them all to bite. It’s very surprising when it happens to you. Then you have to do the frantic scratching and brushing to get them off and you look absolutely insane.
