I thought about this when Kevin Durant said, "I'm sorry people saw that". And then I thought about my wife the other day that said, "I'm sorry that bothered you".
How about, just "I'm sorry".
Not I'm sorry to those I offended, I'm sorry if you were offended or none of that crap that is pretty meaningless. Just sorry.
I'm sorry to whom I've offended with this rant. Not sorry.
Also whoever put out a private conversation is a tool too.

Mistakes were made. I'm sorry that if the making of those mistakes possibly caused anyone harm or offense.
Going forward, actions will be taken to prevent future mistakes being made.
