I love Metallica too, but Metallica post "...And Justice for All" - I just can't do it. James Hetfield has kind of annoyed me ever since the "Black Album". The way he ends every lyric with "- ah" grinds me.

Yeah, as I mentioned in another post, there are at least a dozen (probably a lot more) Metallica covers I would have personally chosen before this one. But...Fiona's version of "Across the Universe" has never done a thing for me. It's one of my favorite Beatles songs, and I actually love Fiona Apple, but to me this version is just so meh. I don't like it.
