Mizzou basketball '13
Haith and the boys are ready to embark on their quest for the elusive Final Four during their second year in the SEC.
Let's talk about all things Tigers basketball here.

With the football revival going on in Columbia, hopefully it spreads to the basketball team also.

Should be an interesting year with all the new faces. JWIII is supposed to be looking good and Im excited to see Clarkson. On paper this is a very talented team but so was last year so we shall see.

Mizzou lost out on Devin Booker, son of Melvin Booker, today to Kentucky after recruiting him for 3 years. The kicks to the nuts continue.....

There aren't a lot of known quantities. I'm expecting a bubble team and I'll be a little surprised if they make the tournament this year. On paper, anyway, the conference should be considerably better.

Re: Mizzou basketball '13
I have no idea. I think Clarkson and Brown will be a good 1-2 scoring punch. Brown really developed down the stretch last year so I think those two could be fun to watch. Ross and Criswell are also solid rotation guys. A lot depends on what we end up with in the front court. Between Jankovic, Rosburg, JW3, Jones and Post there's a lot of talent there, so I think that could eventually end up being a strength. Clark is also an exciting prospect at PG but I'm not sure how much playing time he's going to get. There's a whole lot of guys that are decent at a lot of things, but not many that are really good at one thing. Tough to say what the identity is going to be. I didn't know Webster-Chan left. I kind of liked what I saw from him at times.
I'll be a little optimistic and say top half of the conference and a tourney bid, but I don't expect anything special. Mainly I just want to see them be competitive and develop because essentially the entire team will be together for the next two years (only losing Ross and Criswell), so if some strides are made next year could be really good.

Not sure if I admire those sophomoric punks for their unabashed love/hate relationship with Mizzou/Opponents or if I've grown a little weary, if not tired, of their antics.

yeah, then of course a few of my moronic KU friends on facebook posted about it and talking about how classless MU is...which i mean, yah, what they are saying is awful and they should get booted but lets not pretend that this is isolated to MU...i know KU has had issues in the past, particularly in football, with chants...and i'm sure allen fieldhouse can get ugly...cardsfansince82 wrote:The Antlers are making some news for being dip [expletive] lately.

the blind homerism by KU fans knows no bounds. particularly since they ain't even in the same conference anymore yet constantly they (my ku facebook friends) go on and on and on and on about how terrible, dumb, bad, etc MU is while at the same time congratulating themselves on how well behaved they are. I [expletive] HATE KU FANS...and i dont even consider myself all that loyal to MU, other than a few family reasons
you want to get me riled up...say ku fans or dave matthew band fans
