ACC adding Pitt and Syracuse

from all the reports so far, this looks like a done deal. Even ACC officials are commenting on it instead of no comments. Likely would not have applications if they weren't assured of being accepted.
So the ACC beefs up its basketball cred without improving its football (ie, where the money is) cred.
Not clear if this is it or if they're going after two more. There have been some interesting Texas rumors over the past week with the possibility of Texas Tech or KU coming with them.

If Texas goes to the ACC bringing Tech along with them would be good as in it would keep a natural rivalry for Texas alive. But if they get Kansas that gives them the KC TV market while Tech doesn't bring in any TV markets that Texas isn't already bringing in.

well, now it sounds like they want to take UConn and Rutgers and just go all in with basketball.
Might as well since my FSU isn't every going to win a big game against good teams in football again.
Yes, I'm depressed and slightly hung over.
