In Canada, "rioting" means smashing up a car, breaking a few windows and creating a small bonfire with your game programs. Even in civil disobedience, Canadians are quite civil.

Surprising that anybody still cared.
Winter was done three months ago and they are just finishing hockey? That's almost as bad as MLB played around Halloween. Poor poor planning from a sports marketing perspective.

Seriously, can you imagine an image like that in the midst of the riots in Egypt or during the '68 Democratic Natl Convention?

So what were the final TV ratings on this thing? I know there are hockey fans out there, my brother is a big fan. But I honestly didn't even realize they were playing, or who was playing, until game 7. I wonder if I am the norm with that.
