Probably so. But Iowa fans hate OSU nearly as much.
... at least I do. Never was really a student here, but I do hear a good mix of honest, passionate hatred of OSU, Minnesota, Kansas, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Illinois, depending on which Iowa fan you talk to. Not a clear, intense hated rival, as much as disliked teams due to family trends, specific memories, etc.
Kinda jealous of the distinct Michigan-OSU thing. Iowa is kind of that plain-Jane ex girlfriend who still wants her guy back, only he's much more worried about his super-hot cheerleader ex, and no one at the school really gives a crap about gossiping about any other couple.
tl;dr. Screw Jim Tressel and screw OSU.

That's hysterical.
As an aside, I swear there is a rule that an Ohio State fan must be present at all sporting venues at all times, even when no game is in progress. Every time I go to a game at Neyland, I see a few OSU jerseys amongst all of the orange. Even yesterday, when I went to our campus bookstore to buy my cap and gown, a random OSU fan decked out in full Buckeye regalia was wandering around looking at the merchandise. It's ridiculous.

I attended the OSU -Northwestern game in 2004, and sat next to a guy wearing an entire uniform, pads, helmet and all.
Those OSU fans are a different breed.

Northwestern has owned Iowa in football for the past 5 years and the Iowa fans still barely notice the Mildcats. In football fandom, the only thing worse than being hated is being ignored.sparks wrote:Iowa fans hate everybody.
