Why is GRB so slow ... and I am seeing so many double posts that I think it's not just me. I've seen it where posting just takes forever and then it ends up putting a duplicate or even triplicate on the board. I'd say I've seen this for about 2 weeks now.

I'm not experiencing these issues. Is it fair to say this is still happening?

I haven't had any problems at all.

I still see slowness, but only when I post a reply to a topic. I'm not seeing the slowness when I'm just browsing through threads without commenting on anything.

For what it's worth, I just got this error trying to view a thread:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) [2002]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

And there are still duplicate posts happening, although I've never experienced that personally.

I'm still looking at this but in the meantime I've removed search functionality for guests. I think that will help.
