I would like to see what Oquendo could do, as far as the pitching coach goes I am really not sure.

I'd like to see Jose get a shot. Wonder who he'd tap for his staff?

What about pitching coaches? Catchers or Pitchers make better coaches?
Matheny? They bring someone up from the minors?

I think that would be up to Jose or whoever is named manager. I'm pretty sure the manager gets to pick his staff, not the organization.

Garrett Stephenson seemed to know a lot about the art of pitching. He would be my choice.

I think Jose would give Tony Fossas a call. Heck, Tony looked like a coach when he was playing. Or, maybe my high school shop teacher.

My apologies to any 'in shape' high school shop teachers, their relatives, and their friends.

With Dennis Martinez as a pitching coach in the minors, would he see a chance at the majors?

That'd be something, having an all-latin manager/pitching coach combo.

If not Oquendo, then perhaps Girardi (assuming a younger team with guys like Garcia, Hawksworth, Rasmus, Jay, Ottavino, Perez on the roster).
