Glad Hand for Randy K

Post by valley_card22 »

Not superstar stuff by any imagination, but he did his job. Hopefully he can hold the fort down while Carp gets better.

The teams he faces will get tougher, but anything in the 6-7 inning 3-4 run range is very good.

Nice job Randy

He did fine..... but I have the lowest of hopes for his future starts. I'm thoroughly unimpressed.

Yeah, sorry. On the other hand, I think there are legit reasons for hope with Wells, Wainwright, and Looper. Just not Keisler.

There's a name missing from that list, and I don't mean Carpenter. If it was on purpose, I think I agree with you.

I agree with him, too. But I've felt that way for a while.

It was on purpose. But even then, I have a hell of a lot more hope for him than I do for Keisler.

Not taking away from what Keisler did last night, you could say it was a game Carp was supposed to pitch and we win - no harm no foul. But put me in the unimpressed category as well. If that were the Mets we'd be having a different conversation.
