The Cards have a day game today, so by the time they've claimed first place there will be no reason not to check out probably the most intriguing game of the day --
Dice-K verses King Felix, tonight at 7ET in Boston.

That's a great tip, Steve. Thanks.
Watching King Felix is always a treat and this will be my first chance to see Dice-K.

plus, it's the vaunted Dice-K v. Ichiro matchup.
btw, maybe this is just my own conspiracy theory, but does anyone think that MLB perhaps "kindly asked" Seattle to throw Weaver yesterday (after a weeklong snow layoff), instead of Felix, to make for a better matchup in today's game?

Yes. Pitching Weaver made NO sense.

Um, why would you not line up your best pitcher (Felix) with their best pitcher (Dice-K)? That's what would make no sense, had they not done it.

I wouldn't be shocked, but I would be pretty surprised if MLB got involved like that.

That does sound like a great game. Too bad Seattle's not a very good team...
