Should be a good series. If the Cards start waking up, they're playing a high-flying team.

I kinda got the feeling yesterday that people are starting to get a little too careful pitching to Duncan...they walked him to get to AP?

That was pretty dumb on their part. But it also shows how dangerous Duncan has become in the minds of the other teams out there. If the bottom of the lineup comes thru for us this year combined with the pitching (even without Carp for a while) we're gonna be pretty tough.

I sat Snell on my fantasy team today...largely due to the fact that Pujols flat owns the guy..

Hopefully the Cards offense continues what it had going yesterday and it doesn't backfire on me..

Now in 7 games, the Cardinals have had exactly 4 base runners in the 1st inning of those 7 games..

Eckstein lead off the opener with a single and was quickly erased on a double play..

Pujols doubled with 2 outs in the 1st in the opener..

Eckstein was HBP in the ring game and was quickly erased in a double play..

And Pujols singled just now..

Talk about starting slow in the first 7 games.....

Why are the pirates having their best hitter hit 5th?
