I unironically loved his Batman movie at the time, probably helped along because of the Jim Carrey factor.
Just a while ago I looked up The Saint, a mid-90's Val vehicle that I vaguely remembered. The director made a lot of weird choices in that movie, but seeing Val do a bunch of different characters as a spy type is still pretty fun to watch.
I will have to queue up Tombstone to watch in the near future.

Val in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and MacGruber are my favorites. As good as he was in The Doors and Heat, his comedic performances were incredible.

I actually think he would have made a great Batman with a better script.
