Why can’t I find pitch counts from yesteryear, before they were a thing? Like how many pitches Gibby threw in his 17-strikeout game. Hopefully I’m just incompetent and the info is readily available somewhere out there.

This is prior to pitch counts being a thing I believe.
But in Gibson's book he recounts ever pitch he threw in that game, so if you feel like going through that lol

I feel like Boyfred should worry more about the possibility of a strike in a few years than about defensive shifts.
