Need help..game tonight..

Ok, so we have tickets to the game tonight..

We live 330 miles away and really don't want to get down there and turn right back around when they say the game is PPD...

I've checked around on some weather sites and they say 40% chance of rain, some say 80%, and some say no rain after 6..

WHAT DO WE DO!?

What would YOU do? Mind you we are driving back after the game tonight, so it'll be an 11 hour trip for nothing if they don't play

I 've got duckets for tonight as well, but its only 3 hours round trip for me. PM me your cell number and I'll call ya if i hear something. Also if anyone wants to meet by the Stan statue, LMK.

You are round tripping it? 660 miles in one day? Hardcore.

You have two choices.
1. Go to St. Louis, make the best of it if the game is cancelled. Go get a steak at Shannon's, and laugh it off as one of life's unpredictable things. Part of the adventure.

2. Stay home, make the best of it if the game is played. Take the gas money and money spent at the park and go buy some steaks, and cook them on the grill. With gas prices, you could probably get something nice from mlb.com. Maybe that jersey you have been looking at.

The key is to make a decision and go with the flow. I can't help with that. If you need more info than a garden variety forecast, go here to see the actual computer models:

The one model I saw had a dark blue line through St. Louis at 6pm on Wednesday (it says 0Z Thursday but we are 6 hours off of GMT).

I went through this two weekends ago. I was supposed to fly in for the game on Saturday. I ended up having to cancel my flight and drive. My decision was based on how much money I had spent on my ticket to the game.

Well..we decided no dice..

We were at the game last year against the Braves that had tornado warnings and horrible winds etc. and we drove home after that game too (long day)

jim, it's 333.8 miles from my driveway to the parking garage on Pine that we park in all the time..we have two 5 packs (they have been 4 packs for the past few years) and we usually do about 6-7 day trips a year (my dad and I)...its actually not as bad as one might think...4 lane the whole way, nice break up of the trip in Lincoln for gas and food (steak and shake usually)...the drive home sucks but the post game gets us to Springfield and then XM usually takes us the rest of the way

Looks like the most likely rain will come in the afternoon with occasional storms around game time.

To me it sounds a little promising. Then again, I said the opposite yesterday.

You must be close to me. It's 280 to the garage, but I stay either the night before or the night of the game in Springfield. This is my first year with a 5 pack, we'll see how I feel about that many trips next year.

I say go dude. You have to. The way I see it, yes this has been the year for the most rainouts/snowouts, but If the rain's going to stop at anytime before 11, they probably get the game in. Even though it rains there is still a great chance the game gets in. So, would you really take that chance and stay home? I wouldn't. And if it rains and you're stranded, I'll call moms and you can crash there.
