Honestly, I want to see Walker and/or Gorman at third base. We need to clear some log jams.

Same. I love me some arenado, (and goldy) but I want to see Gorman and/or Walker have a chance to play at the corners for 5-10 years.

I’d also completely enjoy continuing to watch goldy and arenado at the corners.

I’m worried about the way Arenado is trending, and would rather go to the youth movement. Holding onto the stars of yesteryear has burned us before. I’d rather be worse for a season or two and have a shot at being an elite team. Clearing his contract from the ledger also frees up $ for pitching, which is needed more.

But I would also trade Goldschmidt for high-level futures.

The one thing that concerns me with Arenado this year is the decline in his defense, but I don't know how much of that's on him, an aberration, or due to the pitching staff being dog [expletive].

I wouldn't trade either Goldschmidt or Arenado IF the FO is going to actually invest in starting pitching in the off-season, which is a huge TBD. If they don't they're better off trading both.
