Who is the most average player who gets regular playing time in your mind?

Jeff Sullivan

Maybe Asdrubal Cabrera
Or, younger, Kolten Wong

According to Jose de Jesus Ortiz of the St. Louis Post Dispatch, the Cardinals are unlikely to sign Mike Moustakas unless his asking price drops significantly.
It's astounding that Moustakas still sits on the free agent market looking for a home on February 4, but welcome to the 2017-2018 offseason. The Cardinals seem content to roll with a combination of Jedd Gyorko and Matt Carpenter at third base while Carpenter and Jose Martinez share the load at first base. There still seems to be no ideal landing spot for Moustakas as spring training approaches.

pick 'em up mo!

Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports that Phil Coke is attempting a comeback as a knuckleballer.
Coke, 35, spent last season in Japan, posting a 4.56 ERA over 23 2/3 innings for the Oriz Buffaloes. The veteran southpaw's last full season in the majors came back in 2014 with the Tigers. Obviously, it's a long shot that Coke ever amounts to much as a knuckleballer, but it sounds like he might be able to find a team willing to give him a shot.

Some older gentleman on this Mets squad. Possible infield of Frazier (31), Cabrera (32), Reyes (34), and A. Gonzalez (35). Also have Bruce (30) and Cespedes (32) in the outfield.

The Cardinals don't need Moustakas but if he can be had for like 3/40 it wouldn't hurt.

Yeah, I would have done that Frazier deal. That’s bench bat money, and he could have competed with Gyorko/Wong to start.

Moose would probably fit the roster better as a LHB.
