I hope we didn't work too hard with this farce. He was never coming here. We need our headspace ready for the next move. I also hope the stringing out of this by Miami doesn't hinder the possibility of making future trades with them. I still think its a [expletive] tactic, using a team a leverage that never had a chance.

I can't think of a way to rationalize Stanton insisting upon going to a 64-win team with a bottom 5 farm system instead of St. Louis that makes me feel better. Somebody help me out here.

Now, MLG, isn't this where the scrappy, barely replacement level hitter with crappy defense that you've been whining about for multiple pages in a GDT goes yard on a pitch well out of the zone?
