How any judge could award Edgar a 50-45 decision is stunning. I had BJ winning 48-47 but he should know by now not to leave it in the hands of the judges.

Agreed. 50-45 from a judge from that fight should be THE example of why you never want to leave the fight in the hands of the judges.

Expect BJ to be right back in the mix. As in, he's a technically MUCH better fighter than Frankie, and I just can't see him not getting a chance at the title before this year is out...

If Dana White had balls, he'd toss Shogun in against Silva in 3 months.

But he's a businessman and it'll never happen.

Well Anderson Silva is already scheduled to defend his MW title against Chael Sonnen in August so that would be out. But if he got past Sonnen and Shogun got past the Rampage/Rashad winner then they definitely should fight each other.

Yeah, I'm just a big fan of watching the Brazilians go at it. They're such brilliant fighters and seeing that Anderson seems happy to clown around anymore, ya gotta wonder if seeing his good friend get KO'd might light a spark under him.

FWIW, there's already talk of Silva vs Belfort after the Sonnen fight.

They really should give Belfort a tune up fight before going against Anderson. He's only been back in UFC for 1 fight and that would be with a years layoff by the time the fight took place..
