All of this stands, except Bulls in 7. I'll take 6.thrill wrote:Bulls bigs can deny Wade & LeBron the paint better than anyone, Heat can't stop average PG's let alone #1, no Heat post presence to stop #1 at the rim, Heat's defensive penchant of over committing to the passing lanes = #1's bread & butter and the Bulls massive depth advantage = Chicago in 7. Then they beat the Thunder in 6. Boom, championship.

Rose is the softest spoken person. I heard he was low key but this is like sedation.

Meh. The Bulls played about as good as they could possibly play and had every bounce go their way. I still think the Heat can win. The Bulls play really physical on the ball on defense and tonight the refs were letting it go. I see Lebron and Wade shooting a lot more free throws in the coming games.

If you had told me at halftime that Taj Gibson would have an even more awesome dunk than that Wade posterization in the first half, I would never have believed you. But I would have been excited.
Holy crap, those were two of the most thunderously awesome dunks I've seen from our Bulls all season - that absurd Brewer-to-Rose alley-oop is untouchable, to me, but Gibson has #2 and 3 with those two, as far as I'm concerned. The bar I was at was almost all Bulls-game watchers, and was relatively quiet, but totally exploded on both of those plays. What a fun game to watch for Bulls fans! A tight, see-saw first half, then a defensive shut-the-[expletive]-down in the second! Awesome!

Re: NBA 10-11
I understand why a neutral would think that, but a) the bulls were really bad 1st quarter offensively, b) this played out identically to every regular season matchup which the Bulls swept all 3 and c) every reason they won tonight was based on a legitimate advantage that isn't going to go away. Nothing flukey about the superior coaching adjustments, hustle, talent depth disparity, isolation defense or rebounding advantage. That's exactly what every previous Bulls-Heat matchup looked like this season.cardsfansince82 wrote:Meh. The Bulls played about as good as they could possibly play and had every bounce go their way. He's really come out of his shell this year believe it or not. This is the outgoing Derrick.2nd Timer wrote:Rose is the softest spoken person. I heard he was low key but this is like sedation.
I love this team. I"ve been saying it all year, and they just don't disappoint.

Where was King James? Why was he passing up shots to give the ball to Chalmers?

The Cavaliers won the draft lottery with the Clippers pick they got for taking on Baron Davis for a year. Their own pick is 4th.
So, they lose Lebron James and gain Kyrie Irving + (Kemba Walker? Ennis Kanter?).
