It looks interesting, for sure. Anyway, it breaks down to about $1.50 a razor. Is it really that cheap? Seems like you can buy the bulk packs of Mach 3 Turbos for a comparable price per unit. I think those are the best razors I've tried. I wonder how the ones on the site stack up to those?Cole Burns wrote:That site has crashed, but is apparently real. BTW, it's not a dollar a month, but the most expensive blade seems to be $9 a month. I may splurge and go for the 4x blades at $6 a month. That's about $6 per month more than I'm spending right now since I started sharpening my disposables.

I signed up so I'll report back.
The Mach 3 razors I was using are $14 for 4 so there is a huge price difference IMO.

Maybe I'm thinking of Mach 3 and you're using Mach 3 Turbo, because otherwise that sounds like you're paying too much.go birds wrote:I signed up so I'll report back.

Anyway, I'm curious to how you like them. I've bought those cheapy knock-off 4-blade razors from Family Dollar or something and they were just terrible. Absolutely terrible. Make sure you let us know how it goes!

these are 10/$6.95 and sharper so the old fashioned hipster way is cheaper and better.

When I run out of razors I used use a rusty Husqvarna chainsaw from 1994.

Yeah a strop and a hone. Only have to lightly hone it every few months.lukethedrifter wrote:you have a strop you sharpen it on? keeps it sharp?

Only issue is you have to pay attention. You can't just scrape away. It's no joke, especially around the chin and mustache areas. The first time I used one, my face looked like I was attacked by an angry cat.
