Not sure I understand the comment. Are you saying that prospects who need to throw more strikes to be major leaguers go to AA?

Org. guy used to cover innings in a bullpen game. More of a pawn than a promotion, honestly.

No. I am saying he is where he is to work on things like mastering the strike zone.

yeah; Bedell went on the IL for Memphis so that is probably why they were looking for some depth.

I read that he was switching to lefty in one of his previous starts so it must be. He still uses that ambidextrous glove that he can put on either hand. The only rule about switch pitching is that you can't change during an AB. He can switch between batters or innings so long as he declares to the umpires which hand he will be throwing.
