And I'm not saying we would have won last night if the refs weren't total dipsh!ts, but that had to be the most lopsided reffing job I've seen in YEARS.

Bortuzzo Traded to NYI for a 7th

Good for Bortuzzo. Might get to put in some ice time somewhere else. He was just not going to get it here. I do wonder if we could have gotten more for him though. A seventh round pick does not seem like much.

Currently down 4 to 1 in the third to the freaking Columbus Blue jackets. How do we play down to these pathetic teams like this?

I can't remember another hockey player with so much raw skill and so little ability to make it work on the ice. What an enigma. Sheesh

Yes he’s not a grinder that they seem to love, but he’s always hustling and busting his ass

If we’d had the opportunity to draft Bedard, we’d prob put him on the 4th line and try to make him a grinder also

Yeah, there is probably some truth to him being miscast on the bottom lines. But I get the sense that it's not just about his on-ice efforts. It seems like he rubs people wrong in the locker room a bit too. And maybe the front office is making a bit of an example out of him.

The guy has point-per-game talent though, and just hasn't really put it together anywhere he's been.

yeah, prob so...I know with whatever substance issues he had, he prob wanted a fresh start, but does seem to be knocked around places for as talented as he is

the good news is we're doing the Buchnevich thing at center again!

guy can't win a face-off and that's a pretty big part lol
