Another All-Star goes from East to West, as Paul Millsap signs with the Nuggets (great signing for them, and pushes them into the playoffs next year).

Which teams in the West aren't going for the playoffs this year? Lakers, Mavericks, Kings,Suns? And even Phoenix tried to get Blake Griffin but came up short.

Figuring Warriors, Rockets, Spurs and Thunder are on pretty solid footing, there's a gauntlet of teams going for those last 4 spots. Clips, Pels, Nuggets, Jazz, TWolves, Blazers, Grizzlies. I don't think any can say they're in.

Hard to say for sure, but I think Denver and Minnesota take the spots that Portland and Memphis held last year. If Utah doesn't re-sign Hayward, they're probably on the outside looking in.

Denver had the best offense in the league in the 2nd half of last year (better than Golden State, better than Houston, better than Cleveland....). If they can play any defense at all, they're a real threat. That's why adding Millsap is so huge. If they add George Hill also, they're not only a lock for the playoffs, but a threat to advance.
