The Mike Shanahan years in Denver were obviously very good. I really like the guy. My fear is that the game may have passed him by............ but I wouldn't hate it. I have no use for Kyle, though.
Kubiak or Quinn would be my top choices. I know that Kubiak has said he's not leaving Baltimore, but that was before the Denver job opened up. Elway and Kubiak go way back. Quinn will obviously get whatever job he chooses.

Listening to the Elway presser right now - Elway says that he and John Fox disagreed about "how to get to the next level". Says he wants Peyton back, and the decision is entirely in Peyton's hands.
Interpretation: Manning & Fox didn't see eye to eye, so Fox had to go.

I wonder what Fox's plans on getting to the next level were that inspired the split.

In general, I think Fox has different offensive philosophies than Elway & Manning. He's more of a grind-it-out, conservative minded coach. That's just not how a Peyton Manning team is going to play.
I'm not saying that either side is right or wrong, but if it comes down to making Manning happy or making Fox happy, Fox has to go.

So far so good for the Pack, but they will likely regret leaving those 8 points on the table before the day is done.

Seattle looks awful so far.
Not that I'm complaining.

Best plays for Seahawks have been the BS unsportsmanlike conduct on packers.
