Maybe you should tear it down so you can yell at them because real men don't hide behind fences.jim wrote:I built a big [expletive] n' fence to keep them out.

Pretty sure that's Wilson's fence based on the construction of it. Also, yeah, Wilson, hiding behind a fence all the time, isn't a real man.

Can we get back on topic here?
American whiskeys > all other whisky.
Single malt snobs just can't handle the bold flavors we cooked up here in the US of A.

Re: Rant/Rave: Bourbon
I have really gravitated toward Bourbon. I really haven't drank whiskey that long - 5 years maybe. I stuck with Jameson's because I knew it was something I liked, and pretty much only drank it in the winter when I was watching a Bulls game. Once I started branching out I realized that there were things I liked much better, and there were some things I liked less. Scotch - the more expensive it is the less I like it. I would be frightened to take a sip of a $100 a bottle Scotch - I'm guessing it tastes like mud. Irish Whiskey is ok, I definitely prefer Bourbon over Tennessee whiskey, and I've had Rye but only once and I wasn't all that impressed.
But without a doubt I have just meandered over to Bourbon as being my go-to whiskey.

Re: Rant/Rave: Bourbon
I like bourbons with higher Rye content like Blantons. I like the spice that Rye hits you with. It is really down to the weather and my mood whether I'm in a Rye mood or a Bourbon mood.
Sometimes I'm in a BouRye mood.

Scotch is ok. I used to like it a lot more before I got into better bourbon. There's just way more variety and complexity in American whiskey.
