Church is an exceptional fielder so probably. But it was also a 92 mph extremely hittable pitch hanging over the middle of the plate.

Glad I went and mowed after Torres didn't come up with the catch. Oli should have pulled the plug on May immediately.

The most interesting part of the Torres catch is the Cardinals scored two runs in the series because they can't hit, haven't hit for three years and never bother to address the problem. Walker has miraculously performed like an MVP candidate and the team is on pace to barely reach 700 runs.
