Whale found with 19th-century weapon in neck

BOSTON — A 50-ton bowhead whale caught off the Alaskan coast last month had a weapon fragment embedded in its neck that showed it survived a similar hunt — more than a century ago. Embedded deep under its blubber was a 3 1/2-inch arrow-shaped projectile that has given researchers insight into the whale's age, estimated between 115 and 130 years old.

Was watching "Nature" on PBS last night and they talked about this also. I also learned that the Right Whale has a 9 foot dong and 1 ton of testicles.

When I heard this I was thinking that they should be renamed "Left" whales because everyone knows that the right is notorius for small penises and no nuts.

(Is Peni plural for penis?) I don't ever recall typing penises before.
