YouTube TV does have a week trial. Might be worth comparing. I like it more than sling but I don't subscribe to any of the services right now.

I know I'm late to the party, but I've started watching the first season of Fargo on Hulu and it's fantastic.

Sometimes when people tell me they're experiencing a thing for the first time like a restaurant or a TV show or an album I get really excited for them and a little jealous that they get to experience it fresh. This is one of those cases.

I think it got better each season, but many seem to prefer the first.

I don't watch Lights Out very often, but I happened to catch that episode. It was a very pleasant surprise to see the guest list as the show opened, and I'm glad I stuck around to watch it all.

Apparently, the next night, a number of other Update hosts sent in videos expressing their appreciation of the quasi-reunion. Jost, Chase, Fallon were 3 that I remember seeing. There might have been 1 or 2 others.

P.S. Chase looked pretty bad.

i'm not a huge fan of that type of format. even comics i like trying to ad-lib on current events/random whatevers in front of audience, i think it fails more times than not...awkward and cringy etc. that said, i like those guys, comedically, so was fun to see, particularly reminiscing about SNL days

Anyone else excited for the next season of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to drop this weekend?

Yeah, it's usually not good, which is why I've only watched about 5-10 episodes of Lights Out. I gave it a try for the 1st 2 episodes, then have only caught up a couple since (almost always because I forgot to switch the channel/turn the TV off). It's mostly been Spade and his friends making fun of something or other. It's not working for me, and I wonder what the ratings are. They haven't been able to fill the post-Daily Show slot since... Larry Wilmore? Colbert Report?

Monday night was a surprisingly fortunate coincidence.

Yes.
