If you're single or could find agreement with your household, seems like the thing to do is subscribe and watch your fill, then unsubscribe. Maybe keep a live tv service running if you care about that, but do everything else one or two at a time.

This is what I've been doing.

Lodge 49 on AMC is a pretty good chill, low-stakes drama/comedy. A little Northern Exposure-like in that way. It's refreshing once in a while to watch a show where characters aren't solving murders, or shooting and scheming against each other. First season is up on Hulu.

Reminds me a bit of Terriers too, but without the detective stuff.

Don't get too attached. The show got canceled and they're looking for a new home.

I'm only a 4 episodes in, but it seem like that'd be ok? Like I think you could have cancelled Northern Exposure anytime, because unless you were really invested in whether the doctor and the pilot would hook up there wasn't much actual plot. I know people expect that now, but I think it's cool to have something where it's just about characters and what's going on in that episode.

Forgot about that. I have Hulu live tv. Wonder if there’s a deal with that.
Hulu Live now going up $10 a month to $55

A lot of people think youtube TV is better than hulu live. I have no idea if that's true or not.

I had Sling before and I’m a lot happier with Hulu’s channel package. Plus Hulu has programming I’m interested in. The Live interface is a little meh but I’ve gotten used to it.
