Losing your phone sucks. and I do it way too often.

ok, so luckily i was smart and installed tracking software on the phone. I have it traced to an address in north UCity. There's a lock screen message that says "[my email] $50 reward."

The next step (assuming they don't email me) is to go to the police, right?

I would follow luke's advise and definitely NOT go alone if you get an e-mail!

well, i got my phone back. some middle aged woman picked it up and gave it to her 12 year old kid who gave the phone the ol' factory reset and started putting his own [expletive] on it. The little bastard even wanted the $50, claiming he tried to get in contact with me but couldn't figure out how. We settled on $20 because I'm a pushover and I halfway believed him even though I probably shouldnt have.
