Why the hell would they do that? That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I'll probably never be in the stadium or in that seat, but for some reason it's pissing me off that there's a seat like that. When you spend over a billion dollars on a stadium, you'd think you wouldn't have anyone staring into a wall when they're paying $400 buck for a ticket.

I can't find anything better than this, but I have seen video of the same type of seats at Yankee stadium.

"You're not paying to be associated with an obstructed view." But when asked if the Yankees "would take those 1,048 seats out of circulation, paint them black and expand the batter's eye," Yankees President Randy Levine said, "I don't think so." Levine: "The decision was to do obstructed seats -- those few seats -- and we're pleased. They've sold out. ... People like you might have a problem, but fans are eating them up. They're in phenomenal demand, at $5"

Either side of the batter's eye has a wall that blocks half your view.
