What the heck was Rose doing playing hard defense at that point? That's just a dumb play. And I hate Boozer more every game.

He sprained that ankle last week.

Pretty badly. This is not good.

The Hawks made things too complicated last night. They simply needed to dribble to around half court, stop dribbling to get a cigarette, light it up and take a few drags, throw the ball up over their shoulder - and it would have gone in. Guaranteed. If it didn't it would have bounced to an open man.

Would have saved them alot of effort doing it that way.

Pre-ankle injury: 3 games, 19-21, 12-13, 13-15 from FT.
Post-ankle injury: 3 games, 2-4, 6-7, 0-0 from FT.

He's not getting to the basket on his injured ankle. Bad, bad news. I'm still not worried about the Hawks, but only because I think he'll stay on the court. The Heat are a different story entirely.

With the goal of winning it all, i almost think you contemplate sitting Rose for a few games and try to win with CJ. get him healthy because we are toast if we dno't have him for the next series, where we might be able to still win a series here without him.

btw - thought Taj Gibson had his head completely up his ass last night.

Can't ever give away playoff games. Can't do it.

I seriously have not liked an athlete as much as I like him in a long, long, time. He almost makes me want to cry when he's talking about his mom.

Well, so far they've only held home court, as said. I really did think the Celtics would take one of the first two games, though.

With Rose apparently unable to drive, thus unable to twist up defenses and create foul shots, mismatches, or open guys, I have no idea how Chicago is going to beat Miami in even two games, let alone four. I don't expect Atlanta to continue to hit so many well-contested jumpers, so I'm still confident we will get by them.

Still, the West poses a challenge for Miami. I think LA still beats them, Thunder should beat them, and even Memphis could pull yet another upset, assuming ZBo and Gasol put up 40/25 against Miami's weak-ass front court.

Pretty fascinating quarter finals so far!
