Re: NBA 10-11
Just got back from game 6. The refs did what they could for us (seriously the home court ref advantage was pretty ridiculous this series), and Gerald Wallace finally (if he could have played the second quarter this game may have been different) finally got going (if only he could have played like that a bit more in this series). But Dallas just shot better. Blazers shot poorly all series. Terry and Dirk were lethal down the stretch.
I'd never been to a playoff game before. SO MUCH FUN! Unbelievable. And it takes a lot of the sting out of losing.
We need a shooter better than Rudy, a power forward so Aldridge doesn't have to play a million billion minutes, and I dream of either Oden being healthy or someone trading for Roy. Next year could be real good if this offseason goes well.

Re: NBA 10-11
I want Greg Oden to be healthy so bad. What a bummer of a story the past few years. Gotta be heart-breaking for him to watch Durant kill it in that last Thunder game, as Oden stares into space, rubbing his broke-ass knees.
With all the injuries the past few years, I can't imagine being a Blazers fan. They made so many great moves getting away from that crappy JailBlazers squad, finding young talent, drafting well, etc, only to be floored year after year by bummer injuries.
I really, really want OKC, Portland, and Denver to make playoff noise next year. (This year I think the Thunder can win it all, to be honest)

In the fourth quarter of the playoffs you really need that guy who can take the ball, make shots and get free throws he deserves (and others he probably doesn't deserve reserved for stars). Brandon Roy was that guy, or at least nearly that guy. His injury hurts the worst.
Talk is the new CBA may allow teams to buy out one albatross contract. As much as Roy has meant to this team, city and me, oh what a blessing that would be.

D Rose rolled his ankle in a meaningless last play against ATL. Hope it's minor.

I can't
Bulls
I mean
The ...
Wahat?
The Hawks?
I just think....
Argh.
What an upsetting game.
Then Rose tweaks his healing sprained ankle with 15 seconds left. Great.

Wow. The Hawks could not miss. Also, unless that was a problem ankle I don't see how that play could cause a real injury problem. I rolled mine much much harder many times. Weak ankles, I guess.
