Damn, 4 years??? He’s already getting paid. Someone’s gonna be a fool to give him 4 years

We need a DM though. We have enough if we HAVE to, but we need size IMO

We have parayko, krug, scandella, faulk, bortuzzo, mikkola, and walman, etc (IMO walman can be dunn based off what I saw last year)…but that’s the same defense that got pushed around too often last year.

He can ask for 4 all he wants. I’m sure he’s really wanting two or three if he can find a desperate Gm. (I assume most teams are offering one year or two cheap ones)

Good to know the interest was mutual. Maybe he comes back around if he doesn’t get what he is looking for.

I think Suter probably has plenty of suitors, basically being able to pick which Cup contender he wants to go with. The team that made the most geographic sense was the Wild, who is the only team he for sure will not be re-signing with.

Selfishly, I think he's a great fit for what the Blues need. But if I'm looking at things from his perspective, I don't think the Blues would be in the top 5 destinations.

I’m now seeing that suter has multiple, multiple year offers. (Strickland) He’s still a good d man (and I also really want the blues to get him) but unless years 3 and 4 are at like a million per, that’s just crazy. He’s 36 now.

Also via Strickland, Schwartz to Seattle a big possibility. I’m thinking Seattle really wanted Dunn, and thought they could snag Schwartz in fa if they basically agreed to terms in a handshake deal. (Totally me just spitballing)

If they don’t move tank, then the top 6 is set if buch can play on the left. (Or schenner can play there and you move Thomas to the 2nd line)

Still want a dman

The Blackhawks acquired Marc-Andre Fleury for nothing.

there's talk of him retiring

which would be crazy...no one would take the 7 mil cap hit in that case, and Vegas all of a sudden will have more money to spend?

A bit more than I wanted, but less than what I expected. Basically steen’s old deal.

Solid.
