Hoping your uncle made it through the harvest, and that your family is doing o.k.
Thanks Sigh. We made it. We had a really nice harvest and some really good days. It was pretty emotional, especially since we had my Uncle run the combine the last hour or so of the season. I'll have to try and get the video from my cousin and upload it. We have a tradition that as the combine is unloading the last bit of grain into the truck everyone lays on their horns, turns on the flashers, and cheers. We'll carry that on in the future but it was emotional being the last time my Uncle would do it in the combine. I think we all really slowed down and took in this harvest. It seemed like we didn't have the normal stress and rush of a typical harvest and I think it was because we were all trying to appreciate what was going on.
