The one about Kevin Bacon raping those kids?
Strangely enough, there are *two* Kevin Bacon movies where he rapes kids. The other is (regrettably) called The Woodsman.

Fortunately, one of them wasn't Woody Allen's Sleeper. I think it's called Sleepers.

Definitely *not* funny.

There was a girl on my freshman floor whose dad wrote the book that movie was based on. All that stuff happened to him.

Did she say anything about the dispute over whether it's true or not? I think the TV version has some big disclaimer.

Where did this come from?

If this is the Snipes/Harrelson movie, it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I forget the details, but I recall Robert Blake being terrible. Not just him, but his character. From what I remember, there's a point where there's no way his money train is going to get where he wants it to go. He can't win, and he's still carrying on about "nobody stops my train."

Well, at least we know you've seen it. I have to unfortunately, more than once. Oh yeah, don't forget that J-Lo is in it.

To be honest I never asked. "Did your dad really get abused that much?" That would be kinda awkward.

Remember Marnie? (of course you do). It was her roommate.
