Anyone watch The Magicians? It's like R-rated Harry Potter. I've watched about half of it and I think I'm in.

Bob's Burgers is still the mfing best, BTW. It's pretty interesting how a show about people that are decent and actually like each other can feel subversive to other comedies on right now. Even sweet shows like Modern Family or Parks, where the characters rip on each other for 19 minutes before actually acting like a family for 2. Liking each other carries the story, and it's refreshing that the funny comes from places other than ripping each other and being awful (which I still find plenty funny).

It was so brilliant when it arrived, but if Sunny came out today it would be such a familiar tone.

This is going to make the rest of my day so much less productive.

I kind of wish they had Jerry saying "Newman!" every time it hits his head.

Ha... and then you get to the end and it's a donation to the Human Fund.

It's all pretty great.

I mean, starting a war, allowing a person to be decapitated, etc is all good as far as deflecting some of the attention from Hammerschmidt's article/informatoin. But, come on, you can't really expect for none of that info to do irreparable damage to the underwoods.
After what was a pretty lame third season, they threw every kitchen sink in DC into the mix. Payed off well, IMO.

Yeah, it was a decent season (dare I say good), but it's like they got to the end and then were like....well, now what? Guess we'll just, uh.....uh *nervous laughter* you know, uh....pretend like all the suspense we built was for naught.

That thing that was going to end us, that we couldn't survive? Surely if we *spoiler* start a war, no one will be critical of that OR ALL THE OTHER THINGS, right? RIGHT?!?!?!

Whew, glad we dodged that bullet.
