Generally, I agree. That said, I'm making an exception and plan on re-watching Game of Thrones before season 6 starts.

Anyone watching The Family on ABC?
i generally have no interest in network tv dramas, or lose interest very quickly, but im giving this a whack and it's pretty interesting thus far. It gives me something watch to watch on Sunday nights at least. I reached the "dvr it and watch it whenever" point of Vinyl.

I saw the previews last night during Once Upon A Time. Might give it a shot, especially since I'll actually have Sunday nights off soon.

Was thinking of hopping on GoT with the new season w/o watching anything else. Primarily to stop being left out of so many conversations.
Read the first book and didn't think this will as something I'd want to sign up for... but every circle of my life seems in on this, which is very unusual.
Thoughts?

GoT is built on being epic TV with "wow" moments that become why people talk about it. I can say with a fairly good degree of certainty, the "wow" moments coming up will be dependent on understanding things from previous seasons. If you don't, you'll just find yourself seeing something and you won't feel anything when watching. Then when people are wowed and talk about it, you'll be that person who doesn't get why they're stunned.
It would almost be the same as if you didn't watch, and any attempt to talk about it will just mean you'll be asking questions which, depending on your circles, could just annoy people.

I wonder if there's some way to get through 50 hours in more like 20. I'll Google around.

I really like the Hozier song from TWD last night.
Haven't heard a ton of Hozier songs, but I've liked every one I've heard.

That was the best OJ episode yet. Good one to run on International Women's Day.
