Re: TV Thread
I think he was just trying to show how he got to where he is. I like that he throws in some vignettes which aren't just about comedy, but vignettes aren't supposed to take up basically the entire episode.

The bully episode was incredibly unfunny but still one of the most poignant pieces of tv I've seen in a while.

Re: TV Thread
I think that makes a lot of sense (and one I hadn't quite put together yet). It's not really a comedy, but it's not a dramedy either. It's poignant and has funny spots, but it's not all about the laugh. Thanks.

I thought it was hilarious when the creepy old man was telling him to drive the nail into his friend's hand. Very uncomfortable but still funny.

Parenthood is a great show. It's one of the few shows that I look forward to watching.

Ever see a Priest order a hit on someone? And then give the final blessing moments before it's carried out, in a church?
You gotta watch Sons of Anarchy.

I just got around to figuring out that my cable box finally stopped working altogether when I had a power loss yesterday sometime, so I guess I get to miss the premiere of It's Always Sunny. :(
