The woman at the end of this clip is Martha Kelley, a pretty good friend of mine back in Austin when I was doing open mike. Super deadpan and really funny.

Baskets looks outstanding. My restaurant pals and I make that soda joke all the time. It happens all the time where someone sits down and orders something comepletely off-the-wall. The key is to say it matter of factly, like it's a given, and not pause as you dive back into your conversation without a thanks or acknowledging that the server is a person, who then has to interrupt to ask again. It's actually stuff like caffeine free coke zero or Mr Pibb that gets ordered, but the joke has morphed into stuff like Sam's Choice Black Cherry, Vess Pineapple, Surge etc.

I'm two days late to the Conan driving high with Cube and Kevin Hart and a hot intern. That kept getting better and better.
