Even if the Mets had won I still would've have called it one of the greatest Game 7s ever. That we managed to hold on and win such a close game in freakin' Shea Stadium is unbelievable, it still hasn't sunk in for me yet!
Playing the Tigers will be another uphill battle but that's Saturday. Right now and tomorrow I'm going to savor this pennant as much as I can. WAY TO GO 2006 CARDS! You shocked the hell out of me by playing your asses off at the exact right time!

Great game 7, but even more a great series...back and forth. It was a tough series, and both teams played really really well.
