Keep Donnie Mo. Let them have DeJong, Edman, Carlson, Gorman, even Noot if you must. But I'd like to watch Donnie and JW, blossom while the team sucks. Thank you.

This is going to be a disaster with Mozeliak making the moves.
He's thinking "Rich Hill is available for the rest of the year..."

The longer you hold prospects the less value they have. Unless they become great players. Then you won’t trade them. Mozeliak never cashes in an overvalued prospect. The Carlsons of the world. He keeps them until their value is gone.

Bring in a new POBO, let them clean house (both players and organizational coaching staff), up the damn budget and set your sights on 2026 when you celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first World Champs with our 12th title.

They could win 85-90 games next year. An overhaul isn’t needed. It starts with getting a catcher who doesn’t make the pitching staff worse. Sign Nola. Trade the surplus of ok position players for two rotation fillers. It’s not that hard. It’s harder than it was last offseason. Standing pat has a price.

lololololol

Give this guy a microphone and he’ll say something stupid and not followed up on EVERY SINGLE TIME.

“I would hope” Mo wouldn’t forget what his effing job is.

This is why you built Girsch, Mo. if you see press, run and hide.

The SP FA list rarely looks great so I'm not sure how to fix the rotation.

Ohtani (they won't), Blake Snell, Luis Severino, Julia Urias, Tyler Mahle, Brad Keller, Lucas Giolito seem to be the younger options this offseason.

I would just like to stop holding spots open for prospects. Carlson was supposed to be a big deal. Noot was never a super prospect, now look at them.

Yup. This is what we need to do.
Set the goal to be winning 95-100 games.
And for the love of god get someone who can develop pitching.

The rotation improvement is going to have to come via the trade I believe. They may sign 1 free agent pitcher, but that's it.

They need at least 1 front line starter, and a few other good value options. Keeping Montgomery would be ideal, but that seems unlikely, so he should be traded at the deadline.

Nootbaar, Carlson, O'Neill, Edman, Baker, Yepez, Flaherty, Hicks, Dejong, Montgomery any combination of these guys should be traded for two controllable arms between the deadline and the offseason.

They need to badly fix the bullpen too
