His D is what separates him. That charge he took against Harden with 2 minutes left was a great play. Harden got frustrated and then committed a foul on the next possession on Gasol. He force Harden into a 3 second violation a minute before. Then follow it up with a big 3 to tie at 1:30. More D with a minute, forcing Harden to try a stepback 3.
Without Jimmy Buckets tonight is a big fat "L".
MVP?

JB and Pau are both legit MVP candidates. If the Bulls stay healthy they will win the title this year.

I agree that they have a real, legit shot to win it all this year. If they don't get out of the East I will be very disappointed.

Pau has been great, but I'm starting not like him again. He really is kind of a p ussy. I could do without some of the flopping. But he's been very good.

Steph Curry had some pretty sweet highlights last night, not the least of which was his between the legs dribble to his same hand. Yeah, I don't know how you physically dribble with your left hand, have the ball go between your legs and then catch it again with your left hand.

I could do that before I could go between the legs switching hands.

As of right now I'd say everything is wide open.
It's pretty awesome.

I like Jimmy Butler, mostly because he's like a higher-scale Wesley Matthews--unheralded (undrafted, in Matthews case) two-guard out of Marquette, who sort of got time by playing super hard and then became something special.
But if he's an MVP candidate, then Aldridge absolutely is. He's deferring more on offense, but his points aren't down all that much. His rebounding and defense have really taken off this year.
