Me: "Stinky, you can't be lazy and expect everyone to do everything for you. Do you think Daddy is Lazy?"
Stinky: "No Daddy, you are always doing something for me or mommy."
Me: "Were do you get this idea that you can be lazy and not have to do anything?"
Stinky: "Mommy."
Me: "What? You think Mommy is lazy?"
Stinky:"Yea, she either watches T.V. all day or is on her phone, that is what I want to do."
Me: "Lets not talk to mommy about this. Don't ever tell mommy you think she is lazy, ok?"

My 6 yr old can be very lazy, she does not like cleaning up. The other day I was talking to her about lazyness.

I mean, that is what she wants to do. Why are you being so mean. It's not fair.

Re: GRB Kids thread
We were in J.C. Penny doing some back to school shopping the other night. We heard a roar from behind us and saw a baby lion stalking us:

She had found this jacket on her own, put in on backwards and was roaring at us, saying she was a lion. Cute and clever, I am in big trouble.

No worries. The teens only last for seven years.

Yeah, you'll be only, what, in your mid-50s when the teens are over?Radbird wrote:No worries. The teens only last for seven years.
First day of 5th grade for Little Freedette today. Crazy [expletive]. On the way back home, I asked if Mrs Freed if she'd like another baby. (as a joke).
Instead of the normal hell no, she surprised me and said, " I don't know - do you?" I kept up the game of chicken and said "I don't know do you?". A brief pause, then we both immediately said "hell no ." And went directly off to work. Didn't pass Go, and didn't collect anything.
