They showed the Reds TV feed of his homer last night and the announcers were strutting just like Phillips, saying that would shut the crowd up.

Hey, he can hit a homer in every game as long as we win.

His strutting around the bases and "Salute" to the crowd may have earned him another one up and in from Carp, IMO.

Looking at another replay from behind him, you're right.

The view from home plate from last night made it look like he was doing it to the crowd.

I'm pretty sure he already does this. The mlbnetwork feed said he was saying the boos were pretty weak during the game last night right before he hit that home run.
